ImaGeo | Travelling with your 6th sense

The 21st series of the eChallenges conference takes place in the beautiful city of Florence, Italy from 26-28 October 2011. The conference attracts over 600 delegates from leading commercial, government and research organisations around the world to share knowledge and experience, lessons learnt, good practice and innovation.

IN2 is exhibiting ImaGeo at the Heidelberg Innovation Forum on 12 April 2011. The forum is an initiative of the Innovation Agency for ICT and Media (MFG) in Baden-Württemberg and the European Media Laboratory (EML).

The focus in 2011 is on Immersive Technologies. The Heidelberg Innovation Forum has succeeded in bringing together ICT researchers and market players in the early phases of innovation. The matchmaking platform supports start-up financing, licensing and R&D cooperation.

The ImaGeo field trials in Siena were a success! We received local news coverage and welcomed representatives from the press, municipal service and technology providers and general Siena residents. We presented the ImaGeo system and also carried out a number of city tours around the Piazza del Campo to demonstrate its capabilities. The participants were excited by its potential and are looking forward to its release on the market.
